Information Sent Directly
Search terms
A name, location, or other entry typed into a search box is passed to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Bulloch County Busted Mugshots does not keep or log those search terms on its own server through the page itself. The provider’s privacy terms govern its handling after transmission.
Messages and contact details
An email or contact message may include a name, email address, and whatever facts the sender chooses to provide. That information is retained as needed to read, answer, and document the request. It is not shared outside the operating organization unless disclosure is required by law or needed to protect rights and safety.
Technical Data and Cookies
Normal page requests can produce technical logs such as the items below.
- IP address or an abbreviated network address.
- Browser name and version.
- Device type and operating system.
- Pages visited and time spent on each page.
- Referring page, when a browser sends one.
- Date and time of the request.
Cookies and similar tools
Cookies may be used to understand how visitors move through the service, remember a setting, support a search partner, or measure performance. Browser controls can block or remove cookies. Some page functions may respond differently when they are disabled.
How Information Is Used
Collected information may be used to:
- keep the pages available, secure, and responsive;
- send a search request to the partner service selected by the visitor;
- learn which Bulloch County records topics are useful;
- find errors, abuse, and technical failures;
- show advertising that may be relevant to a visitor’s interests.
Links Beyond These Pages
The pages link to the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office, the Bulloch County Jail roster, city police systems, the Bulloch clerk, the Georgia Department of Corrections, federal locators, news publishers, and outside search tools. Once a visitor leaves for another service, that service’s privacy notice and terms apply. Bulloch County Busted Mugshots does not control another provider’s data practices, security, or uptime.
Some advertising partners may use their own identifiers to measure activity across different websites or deliver interest-based advertising. That tracking occurs on the partner’s systems and is governed by the partner’s disclosures.
Who May Receive Data
Personal information is not sold by the operating service as a standalone list. It may be available to the following categories when needed for the stated purpose:
- search partners that process a submitted query;
- analytics providers that measure page use;
- advertising networks and their service vendors;
- law-enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order or other lawful duty requires disclosure.
Security Efforts
Reasonable administrative and technical practices are used to protect information. No internet-connected system is completely secure, and no promise can be made that data will never be exposed through a breach, attack, vendor error, or event beyond reasonable control.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor sent information, a parent or guardian may use the Contacts page to ask that it be reviewed and deleted when appropriate.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and reasonable verification, a person may ask to:
- receive a copy of personal information held about that person;
- correct information that is wrong;
- request deletion of information that no longer needs to be retained;
- object to or opt out of selected processing, including certain marketing uses.
Send a clear request through the service’s contact channel. Some information may need to remain for legal, fraud-prevention, security, or recordkeeping reasons.
Notice Changes
This Privacy Notice may be revised as the service, vendors, or legal requirements change. A revised version becomes effective when posted on these pages. The current text should be reviewed before submitting a new search or message.
